Result of avo ice cream
Unfortunately my avocado ice cream tasted too much of sour cream after it had set. I followed measurements exactly with the cream and I used three large avs as required. Perhaps my sour cream was just a little too strong compared to the variety Americans use. Our creams are quite different. Next time I’ll reduce it by half, if not more.
One good thing to come out of it was I tried a new brand of double cream by Gippsland Dairy. It produces a much creamier texture than the Pauls double cream.
